The Trevose Head lighthouse is just down the road, as is the lifeboat station and both are occasionally open to the public to view - well worth a visit. The beaches of Mother Ivey's Bay and Booby's Bay are about a 10 minute walk but there are several beaches in the locality - one for every day of the week! - and most are wonderful for families and surfers alike. Trevose Golf and Country Club is also only 2 miles down the road; weekly membership is available. Coastguard Cottage West is beautifully furnished, well equipped and complete with a large garden, a sun-trap of a courtyard and a balcony to take advantage of the glorious views; what more could you want?
