Beautifully Modernised New Town Home, Edinburgh

## Space

Situated within a traditional townhouse the property has been finished to a very high standard. The sash windows let in lots of light to the modernised home which has been tastefully furnished.

Guests will benefit from a professionally cleaned home with hotel-quality, high thread- count bed linen and towels. Check-in is available any time after 3pm with the use of a lockbox and the kitchen is fully-equipped with everything guests may need to make a home cooked meal.

The living room in the property is bright and spacious with the dining table in the alcove thus making for an excellent hub to the home. There are comfy sofas, a traditional fire place and TV.

The modernised kitchen is fully equipped and fitted with a granite worktop, four ring gas hob, integrated Bosch oven and microwave, a wine cooler and built in fridge freezer making this a very contemporary cooking space.

There are 2 bedrooms within the home. In each room there are comfortable beds with one of the bedrooms having a sofa bed that can accommodate 2 additional guests if requested in advance. Please note that one of these beds is mezzanine styled and will require the climbing of a ladder like stair. It is not suitable for children under 8 years old. There is also a travel cot for use, but guests will be required to provide baby bedding.

The apartment has 1 modern bathroom with a full size bath and shower. Essential toiletries are provided.

## Neighborhood

New Town is one of the most desirable residential areas in Edinburgh, it is also a Unesco World heritage Site on account of its Georgian Architecture. The New Town has some of the first and least spoilt Georgian architecture in Britain and enjoys all the advantages of central living, with easy access to the city's main business and commercial centres. The townhouses line the cobbled streets, nestled between are boutique shops, fine dining restaurants and stylish bars. Located within New Town is Princes Street and George Street, two of Edinburgh’s bustling shopping streets in the very centre of town. On Sunday's be sure to visit Stockbridge farmer's market which hosts local businesses and their produce. Other great city centre attractions including various galleries, parks and museums are on your doorstep. The Dean Gardens, Royal Botanic Gardens, Inverleith Park and the Water of Leith walkway all provide wonderful walking opportunities and are easily accessed from the property.

## Transit

Popular restaurants, shops and landmarks are located within walking distance of New Town.

Edinburgh Airport: From the airport take the Tram York Place. From here the apartment is a 5 minute walk.

Train: The nearest railway station is Edinburgh Waverley. From North Bridge take Lothian Bus number 8. Alternatively the apartment is a quick taxi ride away.

Buses: Lothian Buses are the main bus operator in Edinburgh. They offer a great free app that provides route maps, fare information and live bus times. Its a great tool for getting around the city.

This apartment is located in Edinburgh City Centre, a neighborhood in Edinburgh. Edinburgh Castle and Royal Mile are notable landmarks and Edinburgh Zoo is a popular area attraction. Royal Botanic Garden and Camera Obscura and World of Illusions are also worth visiting.
