Wayside Cottage is set in open countryside on the edge of the quiet village of North Froddingham in the heart of the East Riding of Yorkshire. This dog-friendly property has far reaching views and yet is only 10 miles from the seaside towns of Hornsea and 8 miles from the bustling market town of Driffield. This detached bungalow was built to house farm workers from farms in the area, and has large, bright airy rooms with all accommodation being on the ground floor.

Entering the property from the rear through a boot room, the kitchen/dining room is large with a modern kitchen offering plenty of cupboard space. With windows to two sides, this room offers stunning views across open countryside and is the perfect place to socialise in whilst enjoying family meals. The living room has a wood burner and deep comfortable sofas, one of which provides additional sleeping as a sofa bed for one person. With a double room and a zip and link twin room, this property provides flexible accommodation whether travelling with family or friends. Outside there are gardens to the front and rear, with the front fully enclosed to allow dogs to run free and enjoy the fresh air. With the views that this property offers, an evening relaxing on the patio whilst enjoying al fresco dining and watching animals grazing in the surrounding fields is a lovely feature.

Wayside Cottage is ideally located to enjoy the stunning Yorkshire coast and the seaside towns of Hornsea, Skipsea and Bridlington, where you can find fish and chips aplenty, beautiful beaches and miles of footpaths and bridleways. The market towns of Driffield and Beverley are also only a short drive away, both of which offer lots of shopping and restaurant options. The gothic masterpiece of Beverley Minster opened in 1225 and is one of the largest parish churches in the UK, a must visit if you venture into Beverley. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs and Spurn Point Observatory offer great birdwatching and with the Tour de Yorkshire passing through nearby villages in early May, this cottage really does offer something for everyone. Beach 8 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
