Idyllic farmhouse annexe set in the beautiful rolling countryside of South Lanarkshire. Furnished with antiques, quality linens and toiletries, Ampherlaw Farmhouse is all about escaping from your busy lives. You'll feel so relaxed you won't want to leave! Snuggle up by the wood burning stove in fireside chairs and enjoy the views, or explore nearby Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Borders. The generously proportioned rooms include a huge bedroom, incorporating a wood burning stove (a starter pack of logs and coal is provided in the winter months) and sitting area with fireside chairs; the large ensuite bathroom has a bath, overhead and handheld showers and is equipped with robes and fluffy white towels. The dining room enjoys views over Tinto Hill (a lovely day out) and is furnished with antiques. French doors open onto the patio area where you may sit and enjoy a barbeque. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need for your stay. We even provide a welcome hamper of bread, butter, milk, eggs and biscuits along with tea, coffee and sugar.

Located in Lanark, this cottage is in a rural area. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Falls of Clyde and Polkemmet Country Park, while Biggar Puppet Theatre and Biggar Gasworks are cultural highlights. Little Sparta and Five Sisters Zoo are also worth visiting. Fishing and swimming offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and horse riding nearby.
