Bolt's View is a semi-detached cottage resting in the village of Rookhope in County Durham. Hosting three bedrooms; a king-size with an en-suite shower room, a twin (zip/link, can be super-king-size on request), and a single, along with a shower room, this property can sleep up to five guests. There is a kitchen/diner, utility and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside, there is an enclosed front garden and secure shed for bike storage, while off-road parking is available for two cars. Bolt's Views offers a peaceful escape to County Durham surrounded by a lovely choice of outdoor adventures.

Amenities: Oil central heating with multi-fuel stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for two cars, one at the front of the property and one at the back of the property. Enclosed garden with secure bike storage. x2 well-behaved pets welcome - though the Owner is open to queries regarding any additional pets. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.2 miles. Please Note: Local Pub is closed for refurbishment and we are waiting for details of the new opening date. Nearest Pub is within 3 miles. A Personal chef is available on request, please contact owner for more information. Access to the property is via an uphill farm track, the track surface is uneven in places and may not be best suited for sports profile or lower suspension vehicles (in snowy and icy conditions, a 4WD would be ideal If conditions are really bad and the track cannot be used then there is a footpath leading up to the cottage). Vehicles can be parked near the bottom of the track and it is a short walk, approx 100 metres, to the cottage.

The city of Durham is within easy reach, as is Hadrian's Wall, while Hamsterley Forest, Killhope Lead Mining Museum and Barnard Castle are also worth a visit.

Located in Bishop Auckland, this cottage is in a rural area. Chesters Roman Fort and Vindolanda are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at De Vere Slaley Hall Golf Course and De Vere Slaley Hall Spa. Hall Hill Farm and Diggerland are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as swimming.
