On the first floor there is also a bathroom with a shower over bath, basin and WC. Completing the interior is a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside, you will find off-road parking for one car and an enclosed garden with furniture. 1 Victoria Cottages is a wonderful property for exploring County Durham with your loved ones.

Town: The market town of Barnard Castle is situated in the unspoilt countryside of Teesdale in County Durham. It stands on the site of an ancient Roman fort which crosses the river. The medieval ruins of the castle still tower over the river and are well worth a visit. Known affectionately as 'Barney’ by residents and visitors alike, the town boasts cobble streets, yards and back lanes, which were first laid out in the 12th century.

Located in Bishop Auckland, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Bowes Museum and National Railway Museum at Shildon are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Eggleston Hall and Sweet Greetings. Walworth Castle Birds of Prey and Planet Leisure are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with rock climbing, hiking/biking trails, and cycling nearby.
