North Granary is an upside-down luxury self-catering holiday cottage with the sitting room, dining area and double bedroom moved upstairs to take advantage of the vaulted and beamed ceiling. This characterful cottage is situated in a lawned, south-facing, sheltered courtyard with tables and chairs outside, and makes a great base for a family holiday near Alwnick and Morpeth in Northumberland.
Downstairs, there is a spacious hall, two twin bedrooms, and a bathroom with power shower.
Upstairs, the vaulted sitting room has a light and airy feeling with views across the wooded gardens. The wood-burning stove, books, DVD, CD radio, lamps and pictures combine to make this a very atmospheric room.
The kitchen has a full range of appliances, with two fridges, a fan-assisted oven, microwave, washer dryer and dishwasher.
The double bedroom has a king-size bed, a vaulted ceiling and an en-suite with toilent and wash basin.
