Completely renovated in 2022 Wit’s End Cottage is a truly stunning pet friendly property in the heart of Ixworth. The property is a wonderful mixture of original beams and modern luxuries. Accommodating four guests across two bedrooms, with a family bathroom. On the ground floor there is a country style kitchen, and beautiful living/dining room. The property boasts a gorgeous garden, perfect for dining al fresco, complete with a charcoal barbecue.
The property is ideally based in Ixworth with lots of wonderful towns and villages to enjoy locally including Lavenham, Bury St Edmunds and Diss. Within Ixworth you have a high street full of lots of wonderful shops, Bury St Edmunds is nearby, a unique market town with a richly fascinating heritage; a striking and elegant combination of medieval architecture and Georgian squares; and a magnificent cathedral and Abbey gardens. There is much to do for those interested in art and culture, including a cinema, museum, art gallery and The Apex, which hosts a diverse programme of live music and events from classical to pop, rock, jazz, blues, world, country, and folk, as well as comedy and dance performances. For family fun the Abbey Gardens have a brand-new play area with mini golf and putting course for little ones. Spacious parkland at nearby at Nowton Park and Hardwick Heath and there are fairs and festivals, a purpose-built skate park and even CurveMotion, one of the largest play frames in East Anglia. Pubs, shops, and restaurants 300 yards.

Rougham Control Tower Aviation Museum and Moyse's Hall Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Pakenham Watermill and Bardwell Windmill. Flo-ridaz Hovercraft and CurveMotion are also worth visiting. Practice your golf swing on a nearby course, or enjoy other activities in the great outdoors, such as horse riding in the area.
