Town: One of the most lovely towns in the Yorkshire Dales National Park is Grassington. For a hamlet of this size, the traditional stone houses and stores that surround the market square provide outstanding shopping options. A monthly farmer's market also offers a delectable selection of homemade and organic local produce. This is an excellent walking place because it is near the River Wharfe and has vast Grass Woods to the north of the settlement. Bolton Abbey, home to the Priory, the Abbey Ruins, and the renowned "Strid Walk," is located down dale. A short distance away is the posh town of Ilkley, which is guarded by the well-known Ilkley Moor. Kettlewell and Buckden, located up dale, are renowned for their breathtaking limestone scenery. With numerous other scenic locations dotted across Wharfedale, Grassington is a perfect starting point for exploring the neighbourhood and all that the Dales have to offer. York and the Bront Country are also easily accessible by car.

Located in Skipton, this lodge is in a rural area and on a river. Grimwith Reservoir and Ilkley Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Parcevall Hall Gardens and Hesketh Farm Park. Millenium Maize and Thornton Hall Farm Country Park are also worth visiting. Break out the clubs and hit the links with a golf course nearby, or seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails, rock climbing, and cycling.
