There is Tooting Bec Common (park) on the other end of our road where lots of families go and play and walk their dogs enjoying a little green oasis in London. It contains the largest outdoor public swimming pool in Europe and there are also public tennis courts.

We had the Imperial War Museum a short bus ride away and the vibrant Southbank with the London Eye and the Tate Modern museum a little further on from the war museum.

If you wish to go to Wimbledon Tennis in the summer there is a direct train route from Streatham Station to Wimbledon Train Station.

There is an excellent bus route from the High Street into the Center. It then goes onto Trafalgar Square where Nelsons Column is and which is also very close to Leicester Square. From here it goes to Piccadilly Circus and then down Oxford Street the main shopping Street of the Capital all the way to Marble Arch.
