Tucked away in a little known and quite idyllic location in Cornwall, just a few miles from the town of Callington nestling in the valley below Bodmin Moor, is the village of Linkinhorne. A little rural piece of paradise hidden off the tourist routes. The village of Linkinhorne has a lovely pub less than 1 mile from these three cottages. Primrose (ref 30212) and Snowdrop (ref 30213) have been superbly converted from old stone barns and stand in the grounds of the owner’s 16th-century home yet both have a degree of privacy, each with a fully enclosed patio garden, and there is a wildlife pond with running water and an adjoining picnic area in the grounds. Snowdrop has been specifically designed to cater for those who use wheelchairs with little or no assistance required. Daffodill (ref UKC1333) is a fabulous, detached, architect-designed barn conversion which has two spacious bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms, and a lovely oak timber living room with large glazed windows overlooking the tranquil garden and meadow beyond. Daffodil is the perfect quiet spot to totally chill and relax in rural Cornwall, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Complete with underfloor heating, a wood burner for those chillier evenings and sumptuous furnishings, this property is an absolute delight. Dogs are most welcome here and the friendly owners who live to the rear of the holiday cottages are most accommodating. For the keen walkers there is an abundance of walking trails around the area or a little further afield in just under an hour you could visit both North and South Cornish coast lines. STERTS open-air theatre is just a short drive from the cottages, a fabulous place to visit to watch a play or listen to poetry or music, set high up on the edge of the Bodmin Moor. Beach 20 miles. Shop and restaurant 4 miles, pub serving food 1¼ miles.
