Clovelly House is in the heart of Berwick Upon Tweed. It sits within the historic walls and is a few minutes walk to all of the shops, pubs and restaurants. We're in walking distance to the beach and so many of the towns historical features.

This home is so spacious and tranquil, it's the perfect oasis for a family trip, reunion or a group of friends exploring the area.
The space
The house is Georgian and had a full renovation in 2021. The ground floor holds all of the main communal areas. The kitchen and dining room overlook a private courtyard with it's very own fire pit and BBQ. The kitchen is kitted out to the highest standard with all of the equipment you could need. It even has it's own American fridge freezer with a water and ice dispenser as well as a double oven and wine fridge. The dining room has a giant live edge oak table, which can comfortably seat 12 people. The living room has a cosy gas fire and very comfortable sofas.

On the first floor there's the master suite, which has it's own free standing bathtub. The master has it's own private bathroom and fresh robes are provided to cross the hall. The family room, contains a double with a built in loft bed above. There's also plenty of space for a cot, and it has it's own ensuite. This room is ideal for a young family. The first floor also holds a twin room with an ensuite.

On the second floor we have another two bedrooms, both king sized beds, one with an ensuite and the other with a private bathroom opposite the room.

All of our bedrooms have their own TV with Netflix, and the mattresses are very comfortable, ensuring you have the most relaxing stay while visiting Berwick.
Guest access
We have one private space round the back of the property. Because we're a townhouse in the centre, unfortunately we don't have on street parking. We do however have two permit passes for the nearby council car park. So we have 3 spaces in total. Berwick also has many 24 hour carparks just a short walk from the house.
Other things to note
This house means a lot to my family. We first visited Berwick as a family during the pandemic. We instantly fell in love with the town and then we found and fell in love with this house. The house was an old BnB, which is why it has so many bathrooms and is so well catered for. As a family we fully renovated it ourselves during 2021. We tried to make it homely and relaxing, but we also wanted to put some character back into the home that had been lost. We're exceptionally proud and connected to this home, and we hope you love staying here as much as we do.

Located in Berwick-upon-Tweed, this vacation home is next to a golf course and on the waterfront. Old Bridge and Royal Tweed Bridge are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve and Northumberland Coast.
