The quiet village of Syderstone is just seven miles from the sandy beaches, salt marshes and bird reserves of the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. The village is home to Syderstone Common, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, famous for its natterjack toads. There are many good days out in the surrounding area for young and old alike including historic houses, windmills and country parks. The traditional market town of Fakenham is just seven miles away and offers a good selection of shops and eating places, as do Burnham Market and Holt. Pensthorpe as featured in the BBC springwatch programme is nine miles away.

This brick and flint cottage, parts of which date back to the 17th century, has been sympathetically renovated and provides pleasant and comfortable accommodation which is full of character with beamed ceilings. Pub: 5 yards
