Overstrand is a coastal village located in an idyllic area of North Norfolk. The village is forever immortalised as Poppyland, due to the writings of Victorian journalist, Clement Scott. It still holds a special charm and retains many reminders of its prosperous past. It is excellent for those wanting to explore the rich and diverse coast with many footpaths making it ideal for walkers. Overstrand has village shops and a pub and there are further shopping and dining facilities available in Cromer, which is just a short drive away.

A very individual and quirky detached bungalow situated within minutes of the large sandy beach in this conservation village. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable with exposed wooden floors. The bedroom on the first floor is cosy although unusual, with sea views. The rear garden is a delight with many interesting features and sea views. Shop: 500 yards Pub: 500 yards

Sitting Room comfortably furnished with seating, TV, video, DVD player and gas living flame fire, this room leads into the L-shaped Dining/Garden Room with table, chairs, comfortable seating, French doors onto decked area rear garden and stairs leading to Bedroom 3

Kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave and small box freezer
Utility Area with washing machine
Bathroom with bath, over-bath electric shower, washbasin and wc

First Floor:
Bedroom 3 with a double bed - this room has sloping ceilings and a floor hatch for a door, a wonderful room suitable for older children or adults

Garden: Front and rear garden, both enclosed and secluded. The rear garden is full of seaside artefacts and has a small pond, which may make it unsuitable for young children - care should be taken. Decked area, garden furniture, outdoor studio/summerhouse with electricity.
Parking: Driveway at the front of the property for two cars.
Heating: G.F.C.H. in all rooms except Bedroom 3 which has a free-standing thermostatic electric radiator.
Also Provided: Towels. Telephone for incoming and local calls only.
Notes: The stairs and access for Bedroom 3 are not suitable for young children or the less able.
