Enjoying a quiet setting within a few minutes walk of the town centre, this lovely property, a wing of the owners’ B&B, has been equipped and furnished to a good standard to ensure as comfortable and relaxing holiday as possible. Grantown-on-Spey is located on the edge of the spectacular Cairngorms National Park and makes a superb base for exploring the many attractions and experiencing the activities this area has to offer. The house is just a short walk from Anagach Woods, a beautiful, natural Scots pinewood where you can walk or take your bike. Also, the town is situated halfway between the Cairngorm and Lecht ski areas, and is also perfectly placed to explore the Malt Whisky Trail – the only one in the world.

Only 23 miles from Aviemore, which is also situated in the Cairngorms National Park and at the head of the Speyside Way, the whole area boasts a super range of shops, restaurants and bars. There is also a very wide range of outdoor activities, including skiing and snowboarding, mountain and quad biking, climbing and hill walking, and a super variety of watersports on Loch Insh, Loch Morlich and the River Spey. Try zip lining, zorbing and perhaps a Segway trip, all really good fun.

Take a trip on the Cairngorm Mountain Railway, or visit the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre or the Highland Wildlife Park at nearby Kingussie, all within easy reach. Only 15 miles away is the village of Carrbridge, where you can enjoy a fun-filled day out for all ages at the Landmark Forest Adventure Park. Visit the lovely Spey Valley golf course and the Dalfaber Resort in Aviemore with its wonderful array of leisure activities. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

This cottage is located in Grantown-on-Spey. Abernethy Golf Club and Boat of Garten Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Cairngorms National Park and Loch Garten Osprey Centre. Landmark Forest Adventure Park and Speyside Wildlife are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including golfing.
