Its large, open plan kitchen/dining room is the perfect size for friends and family to gather and talk about the day’s adventures. The main living room has exposed walls and beams, and for family members wanting to read, there is a lovely snug with fabulous views of the countryside, which makes a great place in which to relax and unwind. There are also two double bedrooms, a twin room and two bathrooms. A courtyard lies to the front of the property, and in spring and summer the gardens are full of colour with the beautiful plants and trees, and the view is just spectacular.
There is a country pub serving food 100 yards from the property (booking advisable), and plenty to do in this area for walkers and cyclists, as well as those just wanting to unwind. Afan Forest Park is not far from the property and is rated in the top ten in the world for mountain biking. Visit the Gower Peninsula and take in the magnificent scenery with its rich birdlife.
Caerphilly is easily accessible and is famous for its magnificent castle and the crumbly white cheese which is widely available throughout the town. The capital, Cardiff, is well worth the visit and is an easy and compact city to navigate, with the River Taff flowing through the heart of the city. The Millennium Stadium sits happily alongside much older buildings including the castle which gives the city a vibrant and cosmopolitan feel to it. Tennis, riding, fishing and golf nearby. Multi-screen cinema, restaurants and shopping complex 3 miles. Beach 12 miles. Shop and restaurant 3 miles, pub serving food 100 yards.
