The surrounding area has lot to offer and we are not far from the Jurassic coast and other attractions in Devon, Dorset and Somerset.

House Rules:
If you want to bring your dog - please contact your Host before you book. We take most dogs but there are some exceptions. Up to 2 dogs only are allowed, and we have some requests for our canine guests. They are not allowed on the furniture. This includes both beds and couches. Dogs should not be left on the property by themselves for extended periods of time and should be on a lead when exiting the property. Please poo pick after your dog. There is an extra charge of £20 per dog per stay - payable on arrival. No cat killers ! The garden and yard are fenced and gated as are next to a road but please do not leave your dog alone outside as some dogs have 'Houdini genes' and large dogs may be able to jump out or small ones go under gates. They are okay for most dogs.

Guests do have access to an area where they can relax and have a barbecue.
We do have livestock and dogs on the farm so please make sure gates are kept closed at all times- particularly the ones leading to the road. We also have a big pond so for health and safety reasons, the pond, poultry area and fields are out of bounds. We are more than happy to show you around if you would like to see the animals. Should you wish to use the area around the pond, please speak to your host - it is not available in the winter months.

Check-in time is usually 5pm but a later check in time can be arranged - anytime up to midnight is fine but please let your host know approximately what time you will arrive. Check-out is before 11am.

Smoking is not allowed.
Please leave the cottage clean and tidy.
We try to give our guests space but one of us is usually available most of the time when needed
We live on the property but do work part time, so although we (and Rosie and Snoopy!) will do our best to be there to welcome you, and we do like to say goodbye to our guests - depending on your arrival/departure times, there might be some occasions when this is not possible, and an arrangement will then be made regarding keys. We are very conscious of our guests' privacy so try and stay out of your way as much as possible. It doesn't mean that we don't want to see you - please do contact us anytime re any queries or to meet our animals. There is a brochure for the cottage in the sitting room which has our contact numbers.

This vacation home is located in Axminster. East Devon and Blackdown Hills reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Seaton Jurassic and Pecorama. Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium and The Donkey Sanctuary are also worth visiting.
