The house nestles into the hillside in this peaceful village, which follows the beautiful River Torridge for over a mile and was featured in the film 'Tarka the Otter'. Enjoying uninterrupted views over meadows and woodland towards the river beyond and just three quarters of a mile from the Tarka Trail which provides miles of magnificent walking and cycling (cycles for hire locally). Lovely woodland walks where wildlife abounds can also be enjoyed from the cottage. Just a short stroll to the charming village pub offering meals, and the village green with children's playground and cricket pitch a comfortable walk further on. Excellent coarse/fly fishing available locally, and within two miles of all the amenities of Torrington including indoor swimming pool, golf course, Rosemoor Gardens and Dartington Crystal. The outstanding coastal walks of Bideford Bay and sandy beaches of Westward Ho! and Instow are within a ten minute drive.
