Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Couples, family bookings and holidaymakers only. . Tremar is situated in Newtown, which is a small hamlet on the Lizard Peninsula. The village now has the benefit of the recently re opened Community pub, The Prince of Wales, with an excellent menu range, in a very historic setting. This semi-detached cottage is within easy reach of the beautiful Helford River creeks and coastline, which makes it perfect for exploring the south west coastal paths and the small hidden coves of this glorious peninsula. The cottage itself has three bedrooms; a double bedroom, ¾ doubled bedroom (suitable for only 1 person) and a third bedroom consisting of a bunk bed.
The location is equally convenient for visiting the tranquil sailing waters of the south coast or the rugged surf beaches of the north coast. This area is popular with walkers, bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts with sailing, water sports, cycle trails, golf or you can simply relax on beautiful beaches. Boats and kayaks can be hired at St Anthony 3 miles away. Sub-tropical gardens including Trebah, Durgan, Trelissike and a plethora of National Trust properties including St Michaels Mount at Marazion can be reached easily. The Lizard Peninsula is the most southerly point in the UK with Coverack beach, Mullion Cove and harbour and the beautiful beach at Kynance Cove. Falmouth, with its prestigious marinas and harbours, has a stunning array of restaurants, cafés, shops and galleries. The National Maritime Museum, Events Square and Pendennis Castle are open to the public daily with activities throughout the year. You can take a boat trip along the Carrick Waters to a smuggler’s cottage or hop on the ferry to St Mawes and visit the castle there. Take one of the ferry services to explore the scenic Helford River and wildlife including basking sharks, dolphins, seals and bird life. Visit the Gweek Seal Sanctuary which is home to rescue seals from around the Cornish coastline. Beautiful beaches on both the south and north coasts, fishing villages, coastal walks, cycling, fishing, golf, and National Trust properties and their grounds are all in easy reach this delightful property. It really is a perfect location to explore this stunning county, there is just so much to see and do. Beach 4.4 miles.

Flambards and Potager Garden are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding nearby.
