A wood burning stove in the spacious dining kitchen and open fire in the cosy living room, all add to the ambience while on sunny days you have the choice of not one but two enclosed gardens (a benefit of being two cottages originally!) , both have sitting out areas and are real suntraps.
There is easy access to Stonehaven, Aberdeen, or the south, and also the quaint villages of Auchenblae, Fettercairn and Edzell. Only seven miles from the beautiful coast, there are lovely coastal walks along sandy and rocky shores at Inverbervie, St Cyrus and Johnshaven, where you can stop for a meal in one of the many good eateries and restaurants, often serving local catches. Further afield, the cities of Dundee and Perth are well worth a visit with much in the way of culture and tourist attractions, including the V & A museum and the RSS Discovery – Captain Scott’s Research Ship.
Free WiFi

If you light any of the fires or use a barbeque please don’t put ashes of any kind (even if you think they’re cold) into any of the plastic bins! We had a melted one the other day! Enjoy
