Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: Llandudno is a popular tourist destination because of its location between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme, and its two different coastlines. The town's North Shore features a wide promenade and an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels, while the West Shore is more secluded and boasts miles of sandy shoreline, backed by sand dunes, with spectacular views of Anglesey. The Great Orme Tramway and a thrilling cable car trip of over a mile will get you to the top of the 679-foot Great Orme, where you'll find the greatest views. Only a few minutes' walk from the beach lies the town's outstanding range of shops, bars, restaurants, and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, North Wales' finest theatrical theatre for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy, and touring orchestras, with an unrivalled repertoire. The town of Conwy, which is itself a World Heritage Site, is only 5 kilometres distant. Conwy, a remarkable mediaeval gem, is totally surrounded by its well-preserved town walls and is overshadowed by a magnificent castle. There's a lot to see and do in North Wales, from the miles of sandy beaches along the coast to the outstanding hiking and climbing in nearby Snowdonia National Park (both about 20 minutes away by car).

Located in Llandudno, this apartment is on the beach. Great Orme Tramway and Great Orme Ancient Mines are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Pen-y-Dinas Hillfort and Bodafon Farm Park. The Cayley Promenade and Conwy Water Gardens are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and cycling nearby.
