The Pack Horse’ is situated in the unspoiled, picturesque National Trust village of Allerford, alongside the shallow river 'Aller' and the famous 'Pack Horse Bridge' from which the property derives its name. Paths and bridleways give immediate access to beautiful surrounding countryside.
The Pack Horse offers a choice of holiday accommodation: We have three apartments, each sleeping up to three people, a suite and a cottage each sleeping up to six people.
Each accommodation is self contained with fridge, electric cooker, microwave oven and colour television. Bed linen and duvets are provided, and towels are provided if required. Cots and high chairs are also available on request, however, cot linen is not provided.
Honeysuckle Apartment :
Honeysuckle is a first floor apartment which sleeps 2. The apartment has a Lounge/diner and kitchenette.
There is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, WC and wash handbasin.
Although we have a strict cancellation policy we will always look at it on an individual basis.
Located in Minehead, this apartment is in a rural area and on a river. Dovery Manor Museum and Dunster Dolls Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at South West Coast Path Section 1 Trailhead and Porlock Weir Harbour. Exmoor Owl & Hawk Centre and Exmoor Adventures are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
