Bedroom: With zip and link twin beds (can be emperor size on request).. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. 6-acre paddock and small woodland. Bike store. Electric car charging point. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. . The loft enjoys its own parking, separate entrance, self-contained amenities, and privacy. Inside, there are many original features including beams, roof trusses, doors, floorboards and staircase, alongside modern amenities. Guests may bring their own travel cot/toddler bed and request a highchair. The access is via a steep narrow staircase with restricted head height, so the loft is sadly not suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues. Immediately outside is a 6-acre area of paddock and small woodland with direct private access from the main house.
The village green is located a 2-minute walk along a footpath. There you will find the 16th-century pub with garden that serves lunch and dinner. The pub is a great starting point for numerous walks, cycle and bridlepaths. Black Down, the highest point in the National Park, with its pine and heather covered slopes made famous by Tennyson, is immediately accessible on foot. Next to the village green is the recreation ground, with pavilion and outside café. This is the location for cricket, football and stoolball matches, and is a launch site for hot-air balloon flights, including in winter. There are three well-maintained tennis courts, as well as outdoor zumba/fitness classes. Within a 30-minute walk via footpaths are two further pubs, one with a popular Indian restaurant which also offers takeaways.
Within 15-20 minutes’ drive is Petworth with its antique shops, stately home, art collection Gainsborough, Holbein, Titian, Blake, Capability Brown gardens, boating lake and open-air concerts, and Midhurst, renowned for polo at Cowdray Park. For sailing, canoeing and open-water swimming enthusiasts, Frensham Great Pond is similarly nearby. Golf is available locally at Hindhead, Old Thorns, Liphook and Cowdray, whilst fishing can be found at Grayshott Angling club. Goodwood is 25-30 minutes away with its Festival of Speed, Revival, horse racing and aerodrome with self-fly hire, and Harvard and Spitfire flight experiences. Chichester and West Wittering with its award-winning sandy beach are 35-45 minutes away, depending on local traffic.

Located in Haslemere, this cottage is on a river. Haslemere Educational Museum and Halsemere Hall are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Cowdray Castle and Cowdray Heritage Trust. Hollycombe Steam Collection and Birdworld are also worth visiting. With canoeing, sailing, and fishing nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.
