Swn Y Mor has been recently converted from a 200-year-old barn that formed part of the original farm. Set within a peaceful and picturesque countryside landscape near Llanfaethlu, the property overlooks Trefadog beach which is a stone's throw away at the bottom of the garden.

Sensational sea and countryside views can be enjoyed from practically every room in the house. Stretching right across to Holyhead Port and mountain they will take your breath away.

You'll have access to the expansive and enclosed sun-drenched patio and garden which stretches down to the beach with direct access. Children, adults and four-legged family members alike will love this idyllic outdoor haven.

The magnificent accommodation is immaculate and incredibly spacious and comprises four bedrooms sleeping up to 10 guests with two bedrooms on the ground floor making it ideal for family groups with toddlers, grandparents, or for guests who have difficulties with stairs.



Ground floor

The spacious ground floor is accessed through the kitchen and features high-quality wood flooring throughout.

If you're a culinary enthusiast, you'll love this kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you need to cater for family meals, picnics and preparing BBQ food for warm summer evenings. It features a large range master cooker and an American-style double fridge freezer.

The farmhouse style dining table seats up to 10 guests.

The impressive kitchen diner flows out to the suntrap patio with gas BBQ. Dine inside, dine outside? You choose!

You'll also find a utility room downstairs which features a washer and dryer.



There are two downstairs bedrooms:

A double bedroom with a gorgeous oak framed king-size bed, an oak wardrobe, a wall-mounted smart TV, chest of drawers, and side tables with night lamps.

A further twin room features a wardrobe, smart TV, and USB plug sockets. This bedroom features patio doors that lead out to the sunny patio and garden beyond.

There is a downstairs shower room with a large walk-in shower with both overhead and handheld shower fixtures, a toilet and a washbasin. A further guest toilet with a washbasin can be found adjacent to the utility area.



First floor

The stairs to the first floor are fitted with a swinging gate as pets are allowed on the ground floor only.

Head up the carpeted stairs to the first floor where you'll find Swn Y Mor's ‘Jewel in the Crown'. A generous living room with a cathedral-style ceiling and glass window facade along one wall maximises light and offers uninterrupted views to the sea and across to Holyhead mountain and ferry port.

The double doors open out onto a Juliette Balcony. Imagine your own private observatory looking out across the Irish Sea. Simply magical!

The living room is furnished with plenty of comfortable sofas, a beautiful deep pile leather chair which is positioned so you can enjoy those views, and a large flat-screen TV.



On the first floor there are two bedrooms:

The master en suite bedroom is beautifully furnished with a king-size bed, flat-screen wall-mounted TV, a set of drawers, two side tables with lamps and USB plugs. Leading through into the en suite bathroom is a dressing space furnished with hand-built wardrobes and a set of drawers.

The en suite bathroom features both a large walk-in shower and stand-alone bath, his and hers sink, and toilet. There are skylights to let in natural light.

The second first-floor bedroom is a large double bunk room furnished with two full-size bunk beds. The perfect bedroom for teenagers and younger guests who want a place to hang out and have fun.

There is a family bathroom on the first floor with a walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet.

*Please note that during high winds the windows in the living room and upstairs bedrooms must be kept closed.



The Nitty Gritty
Swn Y Mor is pet-friendly, welcoming two well-behaved dogs. Pets must stay on the ground floor and a doggy stair gate has been fitted on the stairs. The accommodation has plenty of off-road parking. This property provides one travel cot and one highchair - We dont provide a travel cot mattress and cot linen. Pay as you go EV Charging point available for guests using 'Charge Assist' app.

Location

Swn Y Mor enjoys a privileged location with Trefadog beach a hop, skip and a jump away at the bottom of the garden which enjoys direct access to the beach.

The peaceful countryside location is perfect for guests who want to get away from the noise and hubbub of a busy life and spend time relaxing and recharging their batteries.

The closest village of Llanfaethlu has a convenience store and the Blas Mwy (Black Lion) pub. Further on is the village of Valley where you'll find the highly-rated Catch 22 Restaurant, and within a 20-minute drive, you'll reach the main port town of Holyhead which is brimming with restaurants, pubs and shopping facilities.

Located in Holyhead, this farm stay is in a rural area. Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Breakwater Country Park reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Summit to Sea and Holyhead Maritime Museum.
