Located in heart of rural Suffolk in the owner’s garden, this detached single storey cottage was renovated in 2022, it is fully furnished with a luxury handmade Willow and Hall four seater sofa bed with luxurious kingsize pocket sprung mattress. The bedroom has a kingsize bed with a luxury mattress. Bi-fold doors in the living area lead to a south facing, private patio and garden overlooking beautiful meadows. Muntjac deer are regular visitors as are rabbits, squirrels and birds. Please be aware that the paddocks behind the property belong to the neighbours and therefore access is not permitted.
The cottage is located near the village of Earl Stonham just off the A140 and only 3 miles from the A14. Willow Cottage is an ideal base for visiting the beautiful Suffolk countryside and the coastlines of Suffolk and Norfolk. The area offers fantastic bird watching, walking and cycling opportunities all situated a stone’s throw from the cottage. The town of Needham Market is just 5 miles away. A small, pretty town, rich with historical roots in the wool industry. The Gipping Valley with walks along the River Gipping can take you all the way to the coast through some of the most beautiful Suffolk countryside.
Bury St Edmunds is 20 miles away with an abundance of shops in the picturesque medieval streets and elegant Georgian squares along with award-winning restaurants, fantastic annual festivals, family entertainment, stunning parks, a Georgian theatre and the Greene King Brewery. The county town of Ipswich is 12 miles away with its busy town centre and famous stunning historical waterfront and harbour offering restaurants, cafés and boat trips on the River Orwell. On a sunny day you could be on the riviera!
There are local train links from Needham Market (5 miles) and Stowmarket (7 miles) to London, Ipswich, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and on to the historical city of Cambridge. You can visit Suffolk’s stunning Heritage Coast which includes the popular seaside town of Aldeburgh with its great choice of eating establishments and shops and the famous Snape Maltings. The intriguing village of Dunwich, a peaceful haven for wildlife with its beautiful heathland and the popular coastal town of Southwold, home to the Adnams Brewery, with pubs, galleries, shops, lighthouse and beach huts.
