Knowle Lodge is a marvellous, stone-built, semi-detached cottage set on a working farm, on a hillside, one mile from Cragg Vale near Hebden Bridge. Set solely over the ground floor, the cottage offers one super king-size double bedroom and a shower room. There is a well-equipped kitchen adjoining a spacious sitting room with a sofa bed, a woodburning stove, and a dining area. Outside, there is a front garden and patio with furniture and a barbecue, and off road parking for two cars. Knowle Lodge is a wonderful base for couples looking for a romantic retreat, exploring the Yorkshire Dales.

Town: Situated on the steep and winding Cragg Road is the hamlet of Cragg Vale. The village is 1000 feet above sea level and the area is ideal for walkers. The village of Luddenden is on the other side of the valley, with a visit to Jerusalem Farm, a nature reserve is well worth visiting. Hebden Bridge is close by and has restaurants, bars, bistros, markets, an independent cinema, art galleries, and the Rochdale Canal. Also within driving distance is the Parsonage Museum, a ride on the Worth Valley Railway and the town of Skipton.

Located in Hebden Bridge, this cottage is in a rural area. Victoria Theatre and Rochdale Pioneers Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Eureka The National Children’s Museum and Halifax Ski & Snowboard Centre.
