There is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a ground floor WC, a kitchen, a utility room, a dining room and a sitting room with a multi-fuel stove. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a gravelled patio area with furniture. 1 Linthill Cottages is a wonderful holiday base.

Amenities: Partial electric central heating from back boiler, night storage heaters and open fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Off road parking for 2 cars. Gravelled patio area with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Supplement of £25 for second dog, to be accepted upon consultation with owner. Sorry, no smoking. Please note that a £100 Good Housekeeping Bond applies to this property.

Town: Lilliesleaf is a small village that sits in Roxburghshire in the Scottish Borders. There is an 11th century church in the village and Bronze Age settlements have been discovered alongside. Today, Lilliesleaf has a gallery cafe and two pubs and the towns of Ancrum and St Boswells are close by and provide the shops.

Located in Melrose, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Hawick Museum & Art Gallery and Halliwell's House Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Monteviot House and Abbotsford. Traveling with kids? Consider St Abbs & Eyemouth Voluntary Marine Reserve and Scott's View. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with rock climbing, cycling, and hiking/biking trails nearby.
