Roman Cottage is situated in the perfect location just outside of Bath but in the countryside. Our pretty little one bedroom cottage is in the picturesque village of Colerne. For a peaceful break in the country and only a short journey to Bath for days/nights out, giving you the best of both worlds. A village shop, florist and two pubs all in a 3 min walk. Comfy & cosy, great for a couple & very affordable. There is so much to explore in the area and miles and miles of countryside walks if you choose - or just relax in peace and quiet in comfort.
The cottage has many original features including exposed wooden beams in the lounge and bedroom. There is an inglenook fireplace with a working log burner. One basket of logs are supplied (November - March).
The cottage does not have a garden, but does benefit from a some front patio which has a table and two chairs.
Perfect as wedding accommodation for Lucknam Park (5 minute drive) and The Lost Orangery - Colerne (10 minute drive).
This cottage is located in Chippenham. Corsham Court and Bath Assembly Rooms are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Manor House Golf Club and Cotswold Way. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Bath Rugby Stadium or Castle Combe Circuit. Explore all the area has to offer with hiking and cycling.
