The Space:
Emerald Hideaway features a sleek look with luxury furnishings. Upon entering the apartment, you’ll be welcomed into the bright hallway. There is a welcome book and tablet for you to use throughout your stay displayed on the console table.

Head to the living area and you’ll find traditional beams and an arched ceiling giving a really cosy and homely feel. The stylish space includes a tripod style lamp and large prints showcasing Saltburn. You can relax on the comfy grey sofa and there is a flat screen TV so you can catch up on your favourite shows during your stay.

The open plan kitchen and dining area has a traditional yet stylish look. Blue coloured brick tiles compliment the off-white kitchen cabinets perfectly. You’ll have everything you need for your self-catering break as the kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. There is even a coffee machine so you can enjoy a fresh coffee each morning!

The dining area includes an extendable wooden dining table and matching chairs. Next to the table is a door which opens out onto the balcony. In the summer months, let the warm air drift in as you enjoy evening meals at the dining area or sit out on the balcony to soak up the sun.

Head to the bedroom and you’ll find a sophisticated space with a tranquil feel. Boasting sea views from the large window, it really doesn’t get much better. There is a dark feature wall, sloped ceiling and traditional beams. You’ll enjoy your night’s sleep at Emerald Hideaway as the comfy King size bed has crisp linen and premium bedding. Bedside tables frame either side and tripod lamps create a calming ambience.

The spacious bathroom features built in wooden cabinets with ample storage and large tiles. There is a bath with an overhead shower, basin and WC.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Free on street parking is available along the whole of the street and no permit is required.

The Neighborhood:
Emerald Hideaway is located in the centre of the charming Victorian Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coast.

Located in the heart of the town, alongside the shops, bars, bistros and restaurants, with just a short walk to the beach and lower promenade. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.

Saltburn has plenty of beautiful walks too. The Valley Gardens are a maze of paths and tracks which wind through the flowers and woodland. If you want to explore further, The Cleveland Way National Trail is over 100 miles long and Saltburn is included. If you fancy a 17.5 mile jaunt, start at Saltburn and walk your way to Sandsend. This walk is a great way to explore the North Yorkshire coastline and the views are truly beautiful!

Getting Around:
Emerald Hideaway is within walking distance of all that Saltburn has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors.

Saltburn Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Longbeck, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Saltburn. Hop on the Arriva North East route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay and Whitby. The Moorsbus route has drop offs at Newton Under Roseberry, Great Ayton, Stokesley and Helmsley.
