Also within easy reach is Skipton with its famous castle, canal and quaint streets; ideal for shopping and eating out. Skipton is known as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park which has some of the most spectacular scenery in the UK. The ever-popular Harrogate and Leeds are close by too, so you will be absolutely spoilt for choice of where to visit.
