Cribinau - a dog that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, Ty Croes

Gwynedd. Sleeps up to 8

A handsome refurbishment of a fine old Chapel perched right by the water's edge. Now a monument to contemporary design and a clever mix of old and new.
Cribinau is one of a tempting trio of retreats within the Chapel and you may have one floor, but you get masses of space for eight.
Walk, cycle, explore the beaches and dunes at Aberffraw, or just stay put and be serene. Spread out with books, board games and a TV in the large sitting room with plump L-shaped sofa and a wonderful pulpit framing the room. Cooks will be happy banging about in a snazzy kitchen with sleek cupboards, serious pans, and there's a proper table big enough for long lazy meals with the clan.
No arguments here over who gets which bedroom because they are all bright with soothing colours and white cotton on firm mattresses. Two king rooms have sparkling en-suite bathrooms with tiled floors and lots of thick towels. Two twin rooms have the loveliest linen, cool design, quirky art or pieces of it - both share a gleaming bathroom.
Enjoy a barbecue on your own section of terrace and soak up the local scene. Bird watchers will root themselves on the terrace overlooking the estuary (don't forget to bring binoculars), walkers can set off from the door and be on the coastal path in a minute, and there are dozens of wild beaches to discover. Follow a maze of criss-cross lanes humming with birds and packed with history. Not only are you in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty but you are in royal company here. Aberffraw was once the seat of the Welsh Princes. Llys Llewelyn hosts the royal location and is now a tempting tea room. Walk off the cream scones and bara brith with a jaunt over to Porth Cwyfan to see the church in the sea. Four miles should be ample pay back for a scone or two.
You are only a short hop from vibrant Rhosneigr which is great for kite surfing, boarding or just more eating!
A great launch pad for Anglesey's dark skies and beaches.

Located in Ty Croes, this apartment is by the sea. Penrhyn Golf Club and Storws Wen Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Anglesey Model Village & Gardens and Summit to Sea. James Pringle Weavers and Holyhead Maritime Museum are also worth visiting.
