The Wing forms part of Achnadrish house in the North of Mull, Isle Of Mull, Argyll, Scotland

Isle of Mull. Sleeps up to 6

Forming part of Achnadrish House, a 17th Century former shooting lodge on the the Isle of Mull on Scotland's fabulous West Coast, the Wing offers a suberb location and comfortable self catering accommodation for up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, spacious sitting room with log burner and well equipped kitchen. Perfect for exploring the many stunning beaches and getting away from it all in this area of pristine wilderness, yet only 5 miles from the wonderful eateries and shops of the iconic pretty town of Tobermory. The Wing is situated on the Western side of the main house and used to house the servants who worked in the main house looking after the guests on shooting parties and it still exudes a historical charm with some original features still remaining. The main house is in the centre and on the Eastern side there is a small 1 bedroom self catering unit.
Heated by a wood chip boiler using local wood chips, the Wing is very comfortable and warm with 24 hour hot water and heating.
The Wing has its own private entrance, a small enclosed garden and is suitable for dogs and there are some wonderful tracks for walking nearby, with one direct from the house leading out to the wilds of North Mull.
The area is rural and wild, owls, eagles and other birds of prey and red deer are frequently sighted here. The nearest shop and pub is 2 miles away in the pretty village of Dervaig. The famous Calgary beach is a 20 minute drive.
Achnadrish is on a bus route but we recommend you have a car. Please note the stairs are steep leading to the upstairs and although there is a sturdy handrail they may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The toilet is upstairs.
Achnadrish is also a family home, dogs, cats and sheep also live here.

Mull is a wonderful place for a holiday, it is wild and untouched with magnificent scenery and views with lots of opportunities for wild life watching, walking and hill climbing (we even have a Munro to bag). There a wild life trips and tours on land and sea and white sandy beaches with crystal clear blue seas to explore. Mull is also recognised for the many delicious and award winning restaurants and also as a producer of many fine foods for which there is a food trail to show you around the different producers.

This vacation home is located in Isle of Mull. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Calgary Bay Beach and Lunga, while Mull Theatre and Mull Museum are cultural highlights. Tobermory Marine Exhibition and Lip na Cloiche Garden and Nursery are also worth visiting.
