Hooks Barn is a tastefully converted 300 year old cider barn. It has every home comfort you will need. It is a perfect base for a weeks holiday or a short break. Situated on the edge of the Royal Forest of Dean, about 4 miles from the historic market town of Ross On Wye. It is ideally situated to make use of the many tourist attractions and facilities available in this picturesque area. The barn has two floors, with a comfy living room and fully equipted kitchen downstairs and a georgeous bedroom with shower room above.

The Wye valley is an 'Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty' and was the birthplace of modern tourism in the 1850's when people came to admire the stunning views, and to take 'The Wye Tour'.

There is a patio/BBQ area just outside the Barn. You have exclusive use of a private area within our garden, with great views of surrounding countryside.

Arrival and Departure times – unless agreed beforehand.
Arrival after 3pm please. Please vacate by 11am on the day of departure.


Hooks Barn is a two person (double bed) accommodation.
Pets – No pets are allowed.
Adults only. (Over 21)
Access – We are sorry, but Hooks Barn is not wheelchair friendly due to the bedroom and shower being upstairs.

Located in Ross-on-Wye, this vacation home is in a rural area. Littledean Jail and Wilton Castle are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Cotswolds and Wye Valley. BattleSports Glos and The International Centre for Birds of Prey are also worth visiting. Practice your golf swing on a nearby course, or enjoy other activities in the great outdoors, such as mountain biking, hiking, and cycling in the area.
