Over the centuries, the historic character of the building was maintained as it became a hostelry including a unique brewery, a hotel, and more latterly a B&B. The property has recently been significantly refurbished and upgraded, to now be presented as a luxury home with an enhanced specification and all modern amenities. Outside, there is a glorious and historic cave, that has been around since the Saxon times, which has been built into the cliff face. It houses a 6-person hot tub, an astro-turfed relaxing area and bar facilities.

Attingham Park, Benthall Hall, Dudmaston Hall, Rays Farm Country Matters, Much Wenlock, West Midland Safari Park, Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow are also well worth a visit.
