Woodland View is a stunning four bedroom property, sat on the edge of 8-acres of private, ancient woodland. So much more than a wonderful holiday property, Woodland View truly is a nature lover’s paradise. The picturesque garden which leads you in to the woodland has deer, rabbits, stoats and weasels residing at various times of the year. For bird lovers, fly-catchers, greater spotted woodpeckers, nuthatch and buzzards are aplenty. Not to mention house martins, gold crest, and even herons! You will also find a barn owl box set up in the garden, in the hope of welcoming back last year’s breeding pair. As well as wildlife, the lawned garden has an abundance of flowerbeds, rhododendron and magnolia trees, with a beautiful stream running through the valley, leading you to various woodland paths.

Woodland View itself offers a good standard of accommodation. Beautiful high ceilings greet you at the entrance with a lovely, spacious dining room and dining table, which transforms in to a 9-foot snooker table. This leads to a well-equipped and spacious kitchen with a breakfast area, followed by the tastefully decorated living room, where you can snuggle in front of the wood burner during those chillier evenings. Upstairs there are three double bedrooms and a kingsize room, all of which have good quality linen and towels, to offer you a perfect nights rest after a busy day of exploring. Enjoy some al-fresco dining on the private terrace during the summer or if the weather doesn’t allow, simply enjoy those stunning woodland views from any room that you choose in the house!

For those wishing to explore the wider area, there is an award winning pub/restaurant within walking distance. Woodland View sits in the heart of The Forest of Bowland with beautiful walks and excellent cycling to be had. The Yorkshire Dales National Park, boasting spectacular scenery and historic sites, is only a short drive away, as is the Lancashire coastline and the Lake District, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Bowland Wild Boar Park and Stydd Gardens are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including golfing.
