Cobblers Cottage (double-fronted) in picturesque, historic, Suffolk market town, Debenham

Suffolk. Sleeps up to 6

Cobblers Cottage is located in the centre of Debenham, a beautiful traditional Suffolk village full of charming timber framed houses, many dating back over 500 years. The village boasts a lovely medieval church with exceptional 8 bells and is large enough to provide all the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable. As well as a supermarket, independent butcher, gorgeous bakery with cafe, greengrocers, newsagent and florist, there are other shops ready to serve you including a designer gift shop and hairdressers. A doctor, dentist and vet are also on hand. All of these are within walking distance of the cottage. There are two pubs, one conveniently located next door and other cafes serving breakfast and light meals. You could spend your entire holiday without going out of the village but of course you will want to visit the surrounding fabulous Suffolk countryside with its chocolate box villages. Constable country is just 40 minutes away, as are the picturesque seaside resorts of Southwold and Aldeburgh, along with the world famous concert hall Snape Maltings. Nearby Framlingham has a fascinating, English Heritage castle and of course its connection to famous Ed Sheeran! For serious shopping, Ipswich and Norwich are both nearby.

Located in Stowmarket, this cottage is in a rural area. Blakenham Woodland Garden and Suffolk Coast and Heaths reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Carters Teapots and Suffolk Owl Sanctuary. Traveling with kids? Consider Helmingham Hall and Easton Farm Park. Break out the clubs and hit the links with a golf course nearby, or seek out an adventure with ecotours, hiking, and cycling.
