Enjoy Your Stay Cottage is a delightful detached bungalow in the heart of the South Shore Holiday Village right on the Yorkshire coast and just a few minutes walk from the golden sands of Bridlingtons South Shore beach.
Inside the property boasts an open plan living/dining room with two large sofas surrounding a coal affect electric fire; ideal for taking the chill away during the cooler winter months. Here you can relax, snuggle up and catch up on your favourite TV soap after a long day on the beach. The fold away dining table offers plenty of seating for six and makes for a wonderful social space for a family meal and a glass of something chilled. The compact kitchen is bright and airy and is amply equipped with a range of appliances, perfect for cooking a delicious evening meal or for preparing a mouth watering picnic to enjoy on the beach. With all the rooms being on the ground floor, you will have easy access to two double rooms and a twin room with single bunk beds which is just perfect for children. All rooms are tastefully decorated and both double rooms have built in wardrobes offering loads of space for storage. A house shower room completes the accommodation. To the front of Enjoy Your Stay Cottage is an enclosed seating area where you can enjoy an early morning coffee whilst planning the day ahead or you can sit and soak up the afternoon sun whilst enjoying a spot of reading.
Just a stones throw from the bungalow is South Shore Beach, which locals claim to be one of the best in the UK. From here it is only a 30-minute walk into the bustling seaside town of Bridlington. The park and ride bus into Bridlington is next to South Shore, alternatively you could board the land train which runs along the promenade to Bridlington. South Shore Holiday Village offers many amenities including a shop, tennis courts, children’s play area and a delicious fish and chip shop. There are also many open green spaces in between chalets where children can meet to enjoy a game of football. The town of Bridlington is just along the cost and offers a plethora of tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and traditional amusement arcades and the wide promenade provides a lovely walk along the sea front.
A little further along the coastline is the pretty village of Flamborough. Surrounded by towering cliffs which are home to Britain’s only mainland colony of Gannets. Flamborough also offers some great rock pooling opportunities at low tide! Enjoy the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds or stunning beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, both of which offer miles of walking and cycling routes.
