This semi-detached cottage rests in Boulby near Staithes and can sleep eight people in four bedrooms.

Walkers Halt is a spectacular, elevated cottage with amazing sea views, close to the village of Staithes in North Yorkshire. There are four bedrooms; a double, a double with en-suite shower room and 2 x twin rooms, along with a family bathroom with roll top bath and shower, together sleeping eight guests. The property also consists of a cloakroom, a kitchen, sitting/dining room with woodburning stove and a further sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is off-road parking for three cars, as well as a large, enclosed, rear garden with lawn, patio and furniture and steps up to a summerhouse, as well as panoramic sea views. Walkers Halt is a fantastic property with incredible views for those wanting to explore the North Yorkshire coast and countryside.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: Staithes is a charming seaside village with cobbled streets and back alleys, pretty houses and cottages and an old harbour, surrounded by high craggy cliffs on three sides, with a sheltered sandy beach set amongst the rocky coastline. The best views of the town can be enjoyed from the Cleveland Way, which runs down the cliff to the sea’s edge. The village has connections to Captain Cook who was apprenticed to a draper near the harbour. Nowadays, Staithes is a must for anyone visiting the North Yorkshire Coast and has a good selection of pubs, shops and tea rooms. Staithes is home to an RNLI lifeboat station and a small fleet of cobles (fishing boats) landing fish, crab and lobster, with boat trips for birdwatching, fishing and even whale watching available. It’s also the location of the popular BBC children’s TV series, Old Jack’s Boat. Staithes has a strong attraction for artists, with an annual Art and Heritage Festival, galleries and artists studios with art courses and workshops regularly available. There’s a free Illusion Trail, which guides visitors around the network of ginnels, with trail guides available locally. A superb base for exploring the Yorkshire Coast and larger resorts of Whitby or Scarborough, as well as the moorland villages of the North York Moors National Park.

Located in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, this cottage is in a rural area and by the sea. The area's natural beauty can be seen at North York Moors National Park and Saltburn Valley Country Park, while Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum and ArtsBank are cultural highlights. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Towbar Express Stadium or Redcar Racecourse. Practice your golf swing on a nearby course, or enjoy other activities in the great outdoors, such as cycling and hiking/biking trails in the area.
