Time Out is a one-bedroom first-floor apartment situated perfectly near the ever popular West Cliff and Whitby town centre. This holiday home is the ideal property for anyone looking to explore Whitby and the North Yorkshire coast. The property is set on one floor.

The Space:
Light streams into the living space from the bay windows which look onto Whitby’s Havelock Place. With a luxury, comfy, brown leather sofa this is the perfect spot to relax with your partner. Turn on the flat screen TV to enjoy Freeview channels or lay back with a good book. The room is roomy, providing ample space to chill during your stay on the Yorkshire coast.

The modern kitchen boasts a sophisticated look. With white cabinets and spotless worktops, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need for your self-catering staycation. There is a dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. The space is complete silverware and cookware.

Head to the spacious bedroom and you’ll find a double bed, and an ensuite shower room. Beautifully decorated, the space includes a homely beige wall and premium furnishings. The large window can be opened as much as you wish so you can let the breeze drift in during the warmer months. The ensuite has a walk in shower, basin and WC.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

There are pay and display car parks throughout Whitby and further details will be sent to you prior to your arrival.

Please note that Time Out is located on the first floor of the building, and is only accessible by using stairs.

The Neighborhood:
Time Out is just a short 8-minute walk into the centre of town. Head to Pier Road and you’ll find cosy pubs, fun arcades and plenty of fish restaurants. Continue along the lively road until you reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts. At the other end of Pier Road, you’ll notice the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk.

Over the bridge, you’ll find yourself on the East bank which is full of narrow medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and even more fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.

Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.

Getting Around:
The centre of Whitby is a short nine-minute walk from Time Out.

Whitby train station is less than half a mile away so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
