Accommodation Crown Gardens has been recently updated but remains true to its Victorian origins. Entering onto the large entrance floor, many of the property's period features are apparent, including the decorative Delft ceramic stove, original cornicing, working shutters, a truly magnificent central staircase and beautiful central cupola. Off the entrance hall is the TV room with a 50" HD Sony TV with surround sound and comfortable couches, beanbags and an electric woodburner effect stove. Wi-fi is available throughout.

There is a double bedroom on the ground floor with adjacent cloakroom and shower.

On the first floor, just off the stairs, is a cloakroom and dedicated children's play area, a large, bright & comfortable sitting room with great views over the front of the property and feature mirrors at either side. There is an electric woodburning stove as well as large radiators. The kitchen/dining area is fully equipped with a small dining table, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, hob/oven and microwave. The separate dining room seats 10 guests.

The second, 'bedroom' floor comprises of the Master Bedroom with en-suite shower room, 2 further double bedrooms and 1 twin room. A Jack & Jill bathroom serves as an en-suite shower room to one of the double rooms and a shared bathroom to the remaining bedrooms.

The property has a private rear garden and overlooks a leafy park to the front of the property.

On street paid parking available on Crown Gardens and Crown Road North.

Within a two-mile radius of Crown Gardens, you can experience a reconstruction of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Glasgow home see the largest permanent display of Whistler's artwork, visit 1 of only 5 remaining Clydebuilt sailing ships (Glenlee), see dinosaur artefacts and watch a different, live comedy show every night.

And, if you still have time, you have the Tron Theatre, Glasgow Film Theatre, King's Theatre & the Theatre Royal, the Scottish Ballet, the Òran Mór contemporary arts centre auditorium completed by a ceiling mural by Alastair Gray, the Botanic Gardens and Glasgow Riddle Rooms; an interactive, multiplayer escape adventure.

Byres Road is a shopper's paradise with vintage boutiques, thrift stores, specialist and secondhand shops interlaced with bars, pubs, restaurants and charming cafes serving freshly baked pastries, freshly brewed coffee or a good, old-fashioned Scottish fry up. With the Kelvinhall & Hillhead Subway Stations at either end of the road, you are only minutes away from Glasgow City Centre

Booking Terms
25% deposit is required to secure the dates with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Where a booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival then full payment will be required at the time of booking. We accept most forms of payment including bank transfer; all major credit cards and UK issued debit cards. Rental is inclusive of linen and towels, as well as utilities (gas and electricity) unless otherwise stated on the individual property adverts. Fair usage policy applies. Please note, the property is located mid-terrace and therefore we must request that noise is kept to a minimum. Party groups are not allowed. To assist in ensuring noise complaints are not received from neighbours, we have installed a noise monitor that monitors changes in the noise level and alerts us when things get too loud!

Holiday/Cancellation Insurance
Once booked, the Tenant is liable for the complete Property rental costs. As such, it is strongly recommended that the Tenant take out suitable holiday/cancellation insurance to cover costs incurred by unexpected holiday cancellation. Booking Protect, which is a cancellation policy, is offered as an option at the time of booking via the Click Book Stay website. This cottage is located in Glasgow Westend, a neighborhood in Glasgow. Cottiers Theatre and Tall Ship at Riverside are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Glasgow Science Centre and Xscape Braehead. Glen Etive and M&Ds Theme Park are also worth visiting.
