Town: The picturesque town of Llangollen is a popular tourist destination for many reasons, the first being its dramatic bridge on arrival at the town, where the fast-flowing River Dee runs below. The town is full of weird and wonderful shops and architecture, as well a good selection of pubs and restaurants to enjoy. This scenic area is ideal for energetic types, with Castell Dinas Brân sitting atop of the hillside view, which you can also venture up to, following the stunning winding roads. Within easy reach are the National Trust properties of Chirk Castle and Erddig, as well the Clwydian Range.

Located in Llangollen, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Plas Newydd and Llangollen Bridge are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Lion Quays Spa and North Wales Regional Tennis Centre. Llangollen Scenic Railway and Tenpin Wrexham are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with rock climbing, hiking, and horse riding nearby.
