Our open plan kitchen and living room space is separated by a floating elm staircase. Children under seven require supervision on the stairs.
The kitchen space is well equipped for cooking with two ovens, one fan, one conventional. A microwave, dishwasher and induction hob. There is plenty space for relaxed dining.
A washing machine, freezer and ironing facility are situated in the utility room at the rear. This is the place for coats and muddy boots. Buckets and spades , (essential Pennan equipment) and room for a child's buggy. Adjacent to the Utility room is a bathroom with a shower and bidet.
Upstairs are two bedrooms and second shower room. The spacious main bedroom has a king size bed. A travel cot is available on request. The second bedroom has a double bed.

Our bedding is 100% Cotton with a 200/thread count.

Eco system Electric heating is supplemented by a wood burning stove.

Our large comfy sofa is great for lounging and easily accommodates two persons. Visualise a glass of wine, watching the ever changing sea, in front of the stove. Bliss!

Alternatively the kids might hog the space for the telly. Plenty of throws to snuggle up with.
We absolutely love the amazing views that we have from the majority of our windows. Even from the upstairs loo!
A favourite view of ours is watching the sunrise in the bay from the comfort of the bed in the main bedroom. Another is the window downstairs, which looks up to the famous Red Phone Box. An iconic part of the film Local Hero starring Burt Lancaster, which was partly filmed on location in Pennan in 1983.
Pennan is a wonderful base to explore the coastline and inland area. Whether you turn left/right or go straight over at the top of the brae, you will find an amazing choice of places to see and things to do.
Don’t forget to sample the excellent coffee and cake from Coastal Cuppa along at the harbour, or enjoy an excellent meal cooked for you at the Pennan Inn. Enjoy your holiday in Pennan.

Located in Fraserburgh, this cottage is on the waterfront. Banff Museum and Museums of Scottish Lighthouses are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Duff House and Fyvie Castle. Macduff Marine Aquarium and RSPB Loch of Strathbeg Nature Reserve are also worth visiting.
