Please note: This is an historic building with steep stairs, uneven floors and restricted headroom in places.. Little Crown forms part of an historic building which once served as the village inn and dates to the 1600s. This grade II listed building has now been sympathetically restored to make a wonderful holiday home. The semi-detached cottage is set over two floors with steep stairs leading up to the first floor with a modern bathroom, master double bedroom and second bedroom with trundle bed – this can be arranged as a single or cosy twin room by prior request at time of booking.

The ground floor provides a sociable space with open plan living room / kitchen. Perfect for an intimate meal, toasting with cocktails or simply spending evenings snuggled by the wood burning stove. Why not order ahead and have your Gousto meal box delivered in readiness for your arrival. The box will be left in the kitchen and the chilled produce placed in the fridge. There is private parking to the front of the property and a sunny sitting area for relaxing. There is also a lockable cycle shed to the rear.

Situated in the centre of the village with easy walks direct from the doorstep, the area is also popular with cyclists and fishermen. The historic market town of Diss is just 3 miles away and offers a range of shops plus the mainline railway station with services to Norwich and London Liverpool Street. Located in the Wavney Valley on the Norfolk / Suffolk border there is plenty to see and do.
Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens are just 11 minutes’ drive away and the lovely coastal towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold are 30 miles away. Wroxham, capital of the Norfolk Broads National Park is 33 miles, and the Historic market town of Bury St Edmunds is 23 miles away.
