SMUGGLERS (3 bedrooms) is set back from the road in a row of old smugglers' cottages opposite the beach.
Spread across 3 floors, Smugglers is an iconic Whitstable fisherman’s property, refurbished to a high specification (John Lewis and Laura Ashley throughout) but retaining many original features. Quaint and cosy, this cottage is ideally located for the beach and the many independent shops and restaurants in the high street - just a 2 minute walk away.
Please note the stairs are steep down to the property and inside the cottage.
We allow one dog - please advise as the cleaners have to allow extra time post stay to clean and charge extra. Whitstable is a really dog friendly area.
Children are very welcome - just be warned re the stairs !! We have a lovely garden to be enjoyed by all with a large dining table and chairs. There is a side gate to enter and allows for bikes etc. to be stored.
Parking is not easy along Island Wall - it’s residents only - we recommend parking along Waterloo Road, Cornwallis Circle (just 2 mins away) or one of the car parks close by - be warned the wardens are strict !
We have one bathroom with loo and sink and a separate shower room. Both located on the first floor
There are many lovely things to do in Whitstable and the neighbouring towns from Faversham to Broadstairs (Dickens country) and the wonderful Canterbury with its majestic Cathedral and tourist attractions like the Canterbury tales.
Accessible by bus, train, bicycle (don’t miss the Crab and Winkle Way) - you will never be bored nor bankrupt !

Located in Whitstable, this vacation home is near the beach.
