Visit Ripon with Fountains Abbey, Pateley Bridge with Brimham Rocks, Richmond with its castle, Hawes with its Wensleydale Cheese Creamery and Masham with Black Sheep Brewery Centre. You can comfortably visit York or Whitby on the coast for a day trip before returning to the tranquillity of life in The Dales
