The Space:
Upon entering via the rear of the Zetland building, you are greeted by high ceilings and the sweeping staircase which evokes the building’s grand past. The spectacular front entrance must not be missed with its stunning tiled floors and a chandelier, along with the rich wooden panelling and stunning views of the Huntcliff and Valley Gardens.

Apartment 19 is located on the second floor of the building. You’ll find an open plan living and dining area, a separate kitchen, and a bedroom.

LIVING AREA
The perfect place to relax, the living area has a comfy sofa in a muted shade of grey. It’s the perfect space to unwind in front of the TV after a busy day exploring all that Saltburn has to offer. The arched window provides stunning views over the rooftops. In the living area, there is a well presented dining area with wooden table and two chairs.

KITCHEN
The kitchen has everything you need to whip up a romantic meal for two. With clean, white kitchen cabinets in high shine and wooden worktops, this space is ultra modern. Fully equipped for all self-catering stays, the kitchen has an oven, hob, toaster, kettle, microwave, and a dishwasher.

BEDROOM
Head to the bedroom and you’ll find a comfy double bed. An inviting space, this room is beautifully presented. Matching wooden bedside tables frame the bed and there is a hanging rail for your belongings.

BATHROOM
As expected, the bathroom is a clean and modern space. Both stylish and sophisticated, the bathroom includes a shower, wash basin and WC.

GARDEN
To the rear of the Zetland is home to a former railway platform which now provides a pleasant covered area with plants. Guests are more than welcome to use this communal space.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the apartment are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle in a designated space.

Pets are strictly not permitted to stay at Apartment 19 @ The Zetland.

The Neighborhood:
Apartment 19 @ The Zetland is located in the charming Victorian Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea on the North Yorkshire coast.

Located in the heart of the town, the apartment is only a short walk from the beach and a few steps from the lower promenade. Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance.

The Zetland is close to all local amenities including independent shops, bars, restaurants and bistros.

Saltburn has plenty of beautiful walks too. The Valley Gardens are a maze of paths and tracks which wind through the flowers and woodland. If you want to explore further, The Cleveland Way National Trail is over 100 miles long and Saltburn is included. If you fancy a 17.5 mile jaunt, start at Saltburn and walk your way to Sandsend. This walk is a great way to explore the North Yorkshire coastline and the views are beautiful!

Getting Around:
Apartment 19 @ The Zetland is within walking distance of all that Saltburn has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Staithes, Whitby, Middlesbrough and the North Yorkshire Moors.

Saltburn Train Station is a short walk away and has routes to Longbeck, Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Saltburn. Hop on the Arriva North East route and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Staithes, Runswick Bay and Whitby. The Moorsbus route has drop offs at Newton Under Roseberry, Great Ayton, Stokesley and Helmsley.

Saltburn Valley Gardens and Saltburn Golf Club are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Kirkleatham Owl Centre and Zetland Lifeboat Museum. Teesside Autodrome and The Moors National Park Centre are also worth visiting.
