Appletrees, Burnham Market, Burnham Market

Norfolk. Sleeps up to 12

A fabulous detached house built in 2021 by a local company to an extremely high specification. Spacious, luxurious and light-filled with sunlight from the south facing rear garden beaming through bi-fold doors that wrap around the large L-shaped open-plan living area that encompasses the ground floor, Appletrees, is a superb holiday choice for both multi-generational family groups and friends.

Tucked quietly away behind the far end of the village green of North Norfolk's most prestigious village, this brick and flint fronted attractive property is set over three floors. Entering the house via the front door, you are welcomed into a bright entrance hallway where a return staircase with glass balustrade leads up to the first floor. Continue straight ahead and you will arrive in the vast sociable living/dining space; the true heart of the house, which stretches out into two sitting areas, one to either end, and opens into the private, enclosed garden at the back of the house. To the far end sits a very smart up-to-the minute fitted kitchen that provides everything that any enthusiastic cooks in the party could possibly need. There's a generous-sized utility off the kitchen too with a side entrance door; the perfect spot for cleaning up and drying off both large and small people and any four legged friends after a day spent in the big outdoors or on the beach. The choice of two sitting rooms allows everyone to spread out; both have super comfy sofas and a widescreen Smart television with SkyQ too, so there's no need to fight over the remote! Upstairs on the first floor, are four beautifully furnished bedrooms - a master bedroom with super-king bed, two king-size bedrooms and a bunk room, with a double bed on the lower half. There are three bathrooms on this floor too, two of which are en-suite and a third with both a freestanding bath tub and a large walk-in shower. Climbing up to the second floor, there are two further bedrooms (both king-size, one of which can be offered as twin beds) which have the shared use of a bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Outside, the garden has a large patio area, with garden furniture and a barbecue. From here, four steps lead up to raised lawn area with established apple trees (you can pick your own!), where you can glimpse the glorious uninterrupted views of the countryside beyond the garden, enjoyed from the upper floors of the house.

The beauty of Burnham Market is that it really has something for everyone - great pubs, restaurants, cafes, independent boutiques for old and young, art galleries, jewellers, lifestyle shops, as well as shops selling the necessities of life - a village store, a fantastic fishmonger, a family butchers, a bakery and an ironmongers and a petrol station! So you don't really need to venture too far if you are feeling like staying put and local. However, with so many stunning beaches on the doorstep, endless walks along the North Norfolk coastal path, some historic estates and charming coastal villages to explore, you might not be able to sit still for too long! Appletrees will also available for smaller groups of eight people, Appletrees (8).
