Ground floor bathroom with good shower over bath, sofabed in lounge for those that can't manage the stairs; off road informal parking for one car, also nearby layby parking. Sunny south facing rear garden. Small children must be supervised at all times in the garden due to stream adjacent to. Open fire with logs and kindling available upon request. FREE WiFi.
A short stroll along the attractive High Street takes you to the picturesque chocolate box Cavendish village green with two traditional pubs, village shop, antique shop, tea room, medieval church and a brasserie restaurant called "The George".
Situated between Clare and Long Melford and close to Lavenham and Bury St. Edmunds, with Newmarket and Cambridge further afield. Both Kentwell Hall and Melford Hall are local visitor attractions along with the array of antique shops, pubs and teashops in Long Melford and Clare. Sudbury is a 5 mile drive with a leisure pool with wave machine and flumes. There is the stunning Gainsborough health club and spa just outside Cavendish where a day pass and treatments can be purchased in advance. The Green at Cavendish has spectacular views and a children's play area. Many public footpaths exist around Cavendish and enjoyable views over the rolling Suffolk countryside can be enjoyed when out walking or cycling.
An adventure awaits at Bridge Cottage.. why not enjoy what a friendly, picturesque village has to offer with good food on offer at The Bull and The George. Also close to two farm shops for when dining in and a co-op in both Long Melford and Clare.
