The Penthouse is perfect for up to 6 people and is set in Marsh End, a prominent village house close to the estuary and within minutes walk of the beach and marshes. If you would like an 'enid blyton' holiday then Walberswick is the place to be. Walking and cycling take precedence over cars and life is very laid back here. Our apartment is within walking distance of two pubs serving good food and the village green is a hub of excitement with its tea and gift shops and swings for the little ones. The Crabbing World championships take place here every year and everyone is encouraged to practice all year round - just bring your string, fat and bucket - a great time for all.
You can walk or cycle to Southwold and to cut your journey down for a small fee you can be rowed across the estuary. Southwold harbour offers great fish and chips and stalls to buy the freshest of fresh fish.
There are many lovely walks and we are surrounded by marshes and bird santuaries and walkable to Dunwich, the village lost to the sea.
Located in Reydon, this apartment is in a rural area and near the beach. Dunwich Museum and Halesworth Airfield Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Valley Farm Vineyards and Beccles Lido. Traveling with kids?
