Cottage In Brampton (Near Aylsham), Norfolk, Brampton

Norfolk. Sleeps up to 3

Dove Cot is a lovely 200 year old brick and flint cottage situated in the delightful village of Brampton on the River Bure. It has 2 bedrooms (one leading off the other) and sleeps 2 plus 1 child (possibly 3 adults if they don’t mind the lack of privacy of adjoining bedrooms). The cottage is full of character and retains many original features - such as the Norfolk winder staircase and bread oven. It has full central heating as well as an open fire in the sitting-room. The property is very well-equipped, and the decoration and furnishing is to a high standard. Brampton is ideally placed between Norwich, the North Norfolk coast, and the Broads. There are many lovely walks in the vicinity, several directly from the cottage - the water meadows of the River Bure are a wonderful place to study birds and a favourite spot for water-colourists. Brampton is just 3 miles from the historic market town of Aylsham, and 5 miles from the marvellous National Trust property of Blickling Hall. As well as walking, Norfolk is a great place for cycling and canoes can be hired locally for a trip along the river. Brampton is 12 miles from Norwich. 12 miles from Cromer and Overstrand. 7 miles from Wroxham and the Broads.

Located in Norwich, this cottage is in a rural area and near theme parks. Norfolk Motorcycle Museum and The Straw Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Blickling Hall and Sewell Barn Theatre. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at UEA Sportspark or Carrow Road. Windsurfing and sailing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking and horse riding nearby.
